If you're mad about what he's saying in the interview most likely it's because he's talking about you. If you ask me there is a certain point after paying your dues and reaching a certain level of skill where you have earned the right to talk some sht. I saw him come up over the years in Detroit and he's the real deal. He's also one of the realest people i've met in the business. He's not mad about any of that sht he's just saying that it's a good thing to sound different than everybody else. There is allot of stuff out there right now that just sounds the same as the next thing and it's not helping anybody.
and what's so unique about Bone?
isn't he influenced by his peers?

pff... so i paid my dues which makes it alright to sh!t on other people and behave like a disrespectfull jerk?

thanks you Bone for putting us back where we belong... at the bottom!!
and you on top of course, because you're the real deal

one thing mr Bone keeps forgetting... if it weren't for what happened in Europe, Detroit Techno wouldn't be on the map!!... so maybe he could be a bit grateful once in a while...

See this is a good example of the cultural difference between Europe and Detroit. Here we value it when people say what they think. It seems like whenever anybody from Detroit says what they're thinking everybody gets all offended. Nobody said Europe wasn't important for Detroit. Don't you get it, comments like these are meant to help you guys not to just put you down. When did it become so rude to tell people the truth?

this, along with the aether thread, is another classic case of "my dck is bigger than yours."

i'm going to agree with bone and most of the comments in here, especially thomas regarding the part about "detroit guys were saying this when the swedish techno sound started taking over."

and the part about "detroit wouldn't be where it is without europe" is fucking ridiculous. if that's so correct, tell me why the first 30 or so tresor records are all detroit producers? if it weren't for the detroit sound invading europe, i'm pretty sure gabber would still be a staple listening situation.

i think the cultural differences stem more from the fact that what bone is saying is "a truth" not "the truth"

the idea of ownership over "the truth" "the real deal" "the new sh!t" isn't possible. we all have the capacity to misjudge situations and be wrong.

normal people say "how they feel", egomaniacs "tell it how it is", you know, like tv evangalists (spelling?)

eh. i'd rather someone tell me in the raw their opinion and i can deduce from there rather than someone politely explain it just to appease everyone.
