pff since when do people on this forum need phrases like "fck digital, fck laptop deejays, you're an idiot," for the basic principle discussion vinyl vs. mp3/digital..
imo the discussion is like all the others.. every side has some good points.. of course are artists and labels the loosers of the trend to digital formats.. but on the other hand it's easier for newcomers to put their stuff out..
more interesting is imo the discussion about how playing with a lapotp influences the style of a whole set.. and how these sets differ from vinyl sets..

Vinyl isn't going anywhere. The plants are so busy right now that you have to wait in line in order to get pressed. .
Anyway, if there is a bigger pressure on the pressing plant it could very well be because quite a lot closed down the last 5 years.
