I often noticed that people which care the least about equipment make the best music. This is no rule, but there is some truth in it. I suffer from this too, I don't think I make good music.

i'm not sure about that. i know good artists who do everything in fruity loops and then you have richardo villalobos.

some artists are less open about what they use but that doesn't mean they don't care.
