ive had two 106s over the years, and i definitely liked them, but they seemed slightly tight and less warm compared other analogues, i supppose the DCOs are responsible for that, but its not a significant difference.

i dont have them anymore so maybe that says something, i'd never sell my 101s for instance.

The voice chips from 106's die, and the aren't manufactured anymore. It used to be impossible to repair, and the dead chip was a common problem, so buying a 106 was a gamble.

These days, however, there is a third party replacement chip available. http://www.analoguerenaissance.com/D80017A/

What do people make of the Korg Radias-R ? I've seen one going dirt cheap locally. A good buy or what?
