i've got a few bits on both vinyl and mp3. i prefer vinyl.

well then thats obvious why vinyl sounds better, mp3 sounds like sh!t and theres no depth at all. but vinyl vs. .wav files is very very hard to tell the difference..esp. 24 bit .wavs. if anything .wav sounds better due to there being no surface noise, feedback etc

24bit wav is a studio format so when it comes to playing tunes over a funktion one it's not an option for DJs. i still prefer the sound of vinyl over 16 bit cd's and i can't tell the difference between 16 and 24 bit tracks.

true, i was just saying. 16 bit wavs still sound pretty good

As I wrote in another thread some weeks ago, I found it sad to listen to vinyl dj's the last couple of months here in Copenhagen because of all the feedback, but okay, if you guys really like the feedback from the vinyls, then okay. I guess we just have different taste then :)

if they're getting feedback and a vibrational hum while playing in phono, their decks are total sh!t, and they're clearly not isolated in any way from the system or the room.

that happens like...one in a hundred times that i play, and its fairly easy to remedy with some foam.
