Nope, didn't record it sadly, but I'll redo it at home. I played for 1h45 to a full room. Was a bit hectic in my set, I was always compelled to put back the kickdrum pretty fast, need to work a bit that.

EDIT: However the set went down very well, big and funky, learnt a lot about placing subs, I really need to buy a subwoofer for at home.

Heya peepz, that was tons of fun. Here is the recording of the set (I'm quite happy with it):

http://bl0rg.net/~manuel/emtv-liveset.mp3

Beware it's 324 MB big, and sadly it's missing the last 20 minutes of the set, my recording crapped out cause the harddisk was full.

I am getting a better feeling for flow, I'll have to work on it a bit but it's starting to get there. I'll spend more time on sound quality now, nice subs and basses, nice pads, etc...

almost managed to follow it...
Still listening now, and it sounds pretty good. i just dislike the lack of punch of your kicks.
We're trying to prepare such a set on ableton. any tips pointers on how you set the whole thing up?

thx opuswerk. Yeah I turned the kciks quite soft, but that's the way I like them I think. Maybe they could need a little something sometimes. I'm going to build me a SSL compressor and work a bit on sidechaining and things. I'm completely new to compression and have no clue at all, so I didn't use any :)

Here is a blog posting about how I put the set together, but since then I learnt a lot again :)
