liveset with just a drummachine

Nope, didn't record it sadly, but I'll redo it at home. I played for 1h45 to a full room. Was a bit hectic in my set, I was always compelled to put back the kickdrum pretty fast, need to work a bit that.

EDIT: However the set went down very well, big and funky, learnt a lot about placing subs, I really need to buy a subwoofer for at home.

Beware it's 324 MB big, and sadly it's missing the last 20 minutes of the set, my recording crapped out cause the harddisk was full.

I am getting a better feeling for flow, I'll have to work on it a bit but it's starting to get there. I'll spend more time on sound quality now, nice subs and basses, nice pads, etc...

Still listening now, and it sounds pretty good. i just dislike the lack of punch of your kicks.
We're trying to prepare such a set on ableton. any tips pointers on how you set the whole thing up?

thx opuswerk. Yeah I turned the kciks quite soft, but that's the way I like them I think. Maybe they could need a little something sometimes. I'm going to build me a SSL compressor and work a bit on sidechaining and things. I'm completely new to compression and have no clue at all, so I didn't use any
