Your criticism of fabric is odd too. Yes it is a very commercialised institution these days and the crowd is mainly tourists, rich kids and posers who no little about techno/house. But any club that had such good venue, lineups, soundsystem and vibe as fabric had for years will always be jumped on by the masses; especially when you consider the scale of the place. It still is very well possible to have a great night there and a place you can catch many djs who play hardly anywhere else in UK (Ritchie, Ricardo, Luciano) on one of the best systems in the world. The very fact that it s constantly voted no.1 (by punters and jocks) in the world and that all the biggest acts play there shows you that it IS a rated club in the UK, and it IS a big deal, even if the flip side of this is a few more wankers on the dancefloor.
