Cpu can get a bit heavy when you start to use a lot of midi tracks from live to Maschine and using multiple outs.
I'm slowly thinking i'd be better off dragging to audio, rather than to MIDI. Still need to really find the best setup with ableton.

just a bit at the moment! (free time problems, as always)

its really inspiring!!

ps: but after the first days I use my own sample not the NI lib coz they sit better in my ears.

I use a combination of my own sample collection and the NI content. I have found you can really manipulate things with the FX so they dont sound a lot like the factory banks at all. All n all quite inspiring.

Really loving the maschine :)

Been using a friends, the only thing I don't like about it as yet is it sounds a bit weird for some reason when you bounce down the audio, but I think it's cos my mate hasn't got that process optimized correctly ATM.

Other than that tho - it's a great tool, but it won't make you a techno god overnight, would suggest it's a great way of introducing more live elements to track creation but I'm not so sure it encourages any maverick sound design - can see a lot of people sticking to the presets , they are good sounds, but techno ain't gonna keep moving forward if we keep just giving people sounds like this.

question guys!

I did a test and I bounce a drum groove, 60ish bars, out and into Live (just kick,2 snares,2 hats)

it sounds a bit off in terms of timing! (no Warp at all).

Am I downing something stupid?

thnx
