Hosw many people here still play their olso records? Same thing for me... I just sold all them off cause I got the same feeling. They are just right for this time... in a few years the beatport sound will move and everyone will be saying the same thing about someone elses music. I dont see her music selling well on 12" format, for me its a digital thing which imo shows a lot about her audience. She can make music though, I dont think anyone here said it was bad music, just that its fodder

This may come as a suprise to some of u people but it is entirely possible to buy all your music from beatport and not sound like a 'beatport dj'

To me, a lot of the deep house stuff on Beatport would be more accurately labeled as "deep techno".

i wouldn't call it deep house or deep techno because it's just not deep.

I have a feeling there are a significant portion of house DJs out there who would hate labelling anything they like "Techno" its a prejudice I have seen repeatedly. The number of times I have seen straight up old school banging techno labelled as "Hard house" or similar is beyond a joke.
