Just bougth my pair of custom made Rexton earplugs for musicians.
Haven't had the opportunity to use them so far though.

i will need them also for my future job. though of getting custom made ones. will keep an eye on this :wink:

custom made ones should do it.
- you can choose between different filters that reduces/takes away dB/certain frequencies
- the filters are easy to change (you're not stuck with the one you choose the first time)
- it's expensive, yes, but it's worth it if you think of how valuable you're ears are.

there was a similiar topic on an norwegian partyforum where a guy said that his mother commited suicide because she couldn't handle having tinnitus. after he spoke with the priest at the hospital, the priest had told him that persons who got tinnitus, at least here in norway, are among those at the top of the statistics of people who commit suicide, so it's nothing to fool around with. once you got it, it's no way back (though it's possible to learn how to ignore the noise).
