Minimalism doesn't need too much words.
You gotta feel it not to explain it. :)

it seeps into everything in my life. things like not using 10 words when 3 will do. the amount of sh!t i have in my house. the way i look at things around me. for instance have you ever looked at a building/ piece of art/ etc. and tried to find ways of stripping it of all of its frills and nonnecessities while retaining its original point? cuz i catch myself doing it all of the time...

Minimalism is a school of abstract painting and sculpture that emphasizes extreme simplification of form, as by the use of basic shapes and monochromatic palettes of primary colors, objectivity, and anonymity of style. Also called ABC art, minimal art, reductivism, rejective art.

Or use of the fewest and barest essentials or elements, as in the arts, literature, or design.

Or a school or mode of contemporary music marked by extreme simplification of rhythms, patterns, and harmonies, prolonged chordal or melodic repetitions, and often a trancelike effect.
