MATTHEW HERBERT
Re: MATTHEW HERBERT
It sooths me to see that Matthew Herbert has the same IKEA book/ recordshelves as myself.
And I tell you: they are a bitch to put together... do not be misled.
But, damn, they hold those records with pride...
It's nice to be minimal, but it's more minimal to be nice

Matthew is certainly one of my biggest influences. His manifesto he wrote for producing is my bible

as much as I almost totally agree with everything that's in there, I didn't find anything transcendentely original....... but it's a good thing to put it down on paper!

thx for the info, will check him out!
even worse than not hearing the studio one set.
Seriously herbert and hawtin changed my life.
FUCKING WISHMOUNTIAN! RADIO BOY!
funny story i assume some other people here experenced it also, if you were at sonar (such as i) this summer and went to the accidenal showcase, herbert recorded a section for his new record. where the audience had to particapate. so in some mico fragment of sound, im on the new herbert record(along with 299 other people who ate an apple and said their names)
which makes me happy in some weird "im crazy about this guy ,and helped his creative processe in a vary small way, but still helped" " wow im a geek" way.
if thing don't progress, will the future truly come
