Why is it unreliable or is this just a blanket statement from you?

Yeah i would like to know as well, so far OSC over WIFI has been the only way I can sync two or more computers with ableton reliably without a noticeable latency.

I'm thinking because wireless devices drop connections on occasion. Does that iPad not have USB for sure? I love the launchpad. I haven't used it, but the demos look cool. I was going to wait until I started putting a live set together, but I think I might get one for the studio at some point. If it works with logic that is. I'm thinking I could rig it to work with ultrabeat in step sequencer mode.

So yeah. iPad.

Hi!
I'd like to get in contact with people who would potentially like to use an lemur style application on the iPad. If you fit this description, please send me an email at (markqvist at gmail dot com).

Thanks!

I would say to a certain degree the launchpad is customizeable

1. I've never figured out how to use Automap and the launchpad (anyone got pointers)
2. People like Stray (look him up on youtube) is working on a preset for it right now (I have the beta and he's created some great navigation, drum, learn, chromatic modes)
3. Plenty of monome emulators and M4L stuff out there...

Line6 (known for guitar equipment) had a device for iPhone to Midi, i'm sure iPad is probably on the way or this prolly works too
