Screw beatport. I pretty much stick to Juno and whatpeopleplay

Beatport its just the first store in electronic music for digital release, this is why we whant to be in

That doesn't necessarily translate to good exposure or sales. The site has become so oversaturated, that most releases go under the radar.

That being said, it certainly doesn't hurt to be on Beatport, but it isn't a "make it or break it" site IMO.

But the thing is, that for many labels, the sales on Beatport is 80-90% of total digital sales (compared to all the other shops together that the label is on)..

But I have to say that in the last 1½ years, our sales on other stores have increased significant....

junodownload has interesting old labels. i prefer that one!
