good DJ headphones but terrible for producing.

uncomfortable, everything is overly punchy and low definition sound.

i just did an A/B test with the MDR-V700 and HD650.
yeah wouldn't recommend the mdr-v700. i have the 750's and i just use them for the vocal booth. :)

I also need some help. searching some headphones that will be good for producing and dj'ing if it's possible.

At the moment i have Technics dj-1210. Perfect for dj'ing but not for producing. I'm thinking about Sennheiser HD 280 PRO. Saw some pictures Robert Hood dj'ing with it and know some guys using it in studios are happy abou it. Any opinios ?

The Beyerdynamic DT990 pro are really good but as they're 250ohms they need to be run through a headphone preamp. Also they're open backed so there's less reflections and things sound more natural.
