What Daw was used in this song?
great point.Raddler wrote:yeah, in hindsight I guess it was a bit of a dumb question. It just seems that nowadays everyone claims they can tell the difference between different DAWS, ie; villalobos on Ableton. Anyways thanx.

Its definitely Fruity Loops running via Wine on a Linux box.
But here's the key: Kingston RAM.
Its all in the crispness of the snares. The Kingston ram chips hold the bits in such a way that you get that sound. If you were to use some of the cheaper garden variety ram it would screw up your whole tune.

Re: What Daw was used in this song?
I can hear some glitchy effects in the beginning, maybe he used DBlueglitch for that purpose.Raddler wrote:Not gonna get into why it matters to me, but can anyone take a guess as to what DAW this track was made in? I know it's a really random question, but is the sounds/effects recognizable to anyone? My thoughts are Logic. Ableton perhaps?? It's the repetitive pluck/synth line that sounds like Logic's ESP.
