probably the "salt desert" at Uyuni (Chile)... great light, completely flat area, no life in sight except tourists and photography fans :)

I am a fan, but more of his productions than DJing skills - of course they are good, but his offerings on vinyl particularly the 3X12 of the fabric cd essentially on Sei es Drum are fantastic.

I'll look up the salt desert.

i much prefer his older tracks and the last couple of years i've started to find his DJ sets boring.

Actually he did a great job for Deutsche Grammophon,with the recomposition of Moritz von Oswald and Carl Craig track(also recomposed[sic!]).The rest didn't caught my attention recently.
