Recording sets off a mixer

i use the tascam dr 08

just put a cable from the record out of your mixer to the line in on the tascam and press Rec.

it doesnt get easier.

you can also use the DR-07 its cheaper

do you use it for sampling as well? i've been looking at a few reviews at these small form factor personal recorders and would love to hear what you have to say about the DR-08! :)

have you ever recorded a live show from it, like at a club or something, DJ so and so, how did it turn out?

i never recorded a live show, the problem with club mixer is, that they are usally way in the red.

to get a good recording each channel should not be over +6 db.

there is not really a difference between club recording and home recording, at home you usally dont overamplify.

i dont see why a recording should not be perfect if the DJ doesnt overamplify.
