It's difficult to give an exact figure, it would depend on how much I liked the record in question. I listened to the Sketches EP mentioned in that link when it came out & didn't think it was good enough to part with £35 for. If it blew me away then, in theory, i'd buy it.

edit: Though I did buy Ability II - Pressure Dub single sided for £9.50.. haha I guess it depends on how much you are willing to pay..
I got ability II for £6.99 on honestjons....
I should shop around!! No second hand stores here unfortunately.. or else Id be all over it
I dont have second hand stores either, just shop around online a bit. honestjons get some stuff in and generally a few quid cheaper than juno. Chemical-records is also superb for picking up the odd bargain for a couple of quid.
That was an interesting read. I think the maximum I paid for a record was almost 40 euros for the inspirescu album on arpiar, but that was counting the shipping with insurance from germany to spain. I have played it not too many times but the music its very special. My policy for buying records is pretty strict because i started late and you can buy already a lot of old stuff on digital so I only buy records from people and labels who really care about the sound so I own some perlon, playhouse, arpiar, baby ford, villalobos, etc.
