Just checked and bought this out of curiosity and beacause i think Florian Meindl is doing a great job and deserves to be paid for his work:

If you buy this or whatever you will notice that the 'transients' that
are featured in this package are no different to the stuff the technique mentioned in this thread will yield.
PS: Make sure you trim the attack samples according to your needs.
Sometimes 'my' technique will give you attack samples with reverb tails etc.
Make sure you cut them (if so desired) before layering with the low+mid kicks in order to get a kick with a clean sub (+mid) region.
HINT: It might be worthwile tuning the lower (+mid) layer to a useful note
say A1 (55 Hz) or G1(~48.99 Hz) before layering with the extracted attack/transient layer for maximum flexibility, enabling you to tune the kick so that it's sub layer is in tune with the scale your track is in.
You might want to use:
http://www.analogx.com/contents/downloa ... eeware.htm
or the Melodyne 30 days unlimited trial for this:
http://www.celemony.com/cms/index.php?i ... editor&L=1
PS2: I reckon the technique i explained here is not much different to just running the kickdrums through a highpass filter with a cutoff value of say 800-1000 Hz but somehow i enjoy using this certain mda plugin for this purpose ).
