i know exactly how u feel dude!!!

i come up with some really nice, interesting ideas / loops / elements but when i try arranging them into an entire track as a whole it just seems to fall flat. i end up just banking stuff and not finishing anything / putting anything up on my soundcloud and my friends wanna hear new stuff but im never confident enough to finish these tracks! :-/

also making a little jam (recording it) with them could bring you some ideas.

sometimes it is nice to get up from the chair and start moving your feet with your sounds and loops, you end up dancing a bit.

maybe save any interesting sounds as samples or presets and move on. the track probably isn't worth finishing.

concentrate on being arsed to arrange the track, thats probably the only thing thats daunting to you, dont let urself get sidetracked...don't sit listening to the same 4 bar loop over and over again, map that fucker out!!

I really wish I practiced my own preachings.. :?

After years of doing this what i find the best thing to do is just Delete it. If a track is meant to happen it will happen. You can't force your way into it.
