tried to write an explanation two times already but gave up.

i kind of understand the basic behind it, but i'm not sure how the frequency shift makes those images. as the pitch raises the wave form oscilates more and more, but when you look at a spectrogram it doesn't seem like that does it? being stupid, trying to find an appropriate answer.

Perhaps it has to do with the materials used?

The lines formed look like an interference pattern more than anything else. I could be wrong and correct me if I am, I don't know too much about physics.

It's cool regardless.
