how loud is your unit?

is it normal that it's a bit noisy like a pc or something.

the noise comes from the unit itself not from the speakers.

anyone else notice this?

Can you describe the noise your are hearing?! Is it a new one? Or do u have it for years?
I think it is just a ventilator a little bit full of crap?! Clean the the unit!

But is it like really loud?! Or just a little noisy! Are u still hearing it if the music is on, on normal volume.

Did u hear it before etc etc!
Cheers!

it's a new unit.
i turned it on, and the noise was there. i can not hear the noise when music is playing at a normal level.
but still, it's a bit louder than my pc. i'm just wondering if anyone else has this, or if it's just this unit.
yes, it sounds a bit like a ventilator.

Ouch!!!!

Might be the power supply!!! (the internal transfo)

Check it out!!

Not normal for sure... I was lent one once and I would have remembered that noise. It was quiet as a mouse... and awesome sounding.

I had a strange noise coming from my motu 828 after touring, and it was just a screw unscrewed inside the unit. You can open it and check the all the screws.
It was due to the plane vibrations I guess...
Hope this helps.

No. Not your responsability anyway.

Dude... don't delay and get a new one. That's what your warranty is for. If they tell you :"We'll send it back and have it fixed..." ...fck that, do not accept. Every one and his dog has a million of those in stock. In fact, it's possible that your unit is a "refurbished" one--fck that. You paid for a new, perfectly working unit AND A WARRANTY, you paid for that as well and that's that.

Go to the store, get what's yours.

Oh yeah... put on a "yo-I-don't-have-time-for-this-crap-ok?" face... they'll listen.
