i do like the track but i think its not finished?
it needs some finishing touch and at some points variation... think you need to play more with some parts... let it go out of the standerd pattern.... it's not always neccesary, but i think with this track it is.

Track

yeah this is just my first draft and not mixed down or mastered.

Thanks for the input, I agree it does need a few more subtle tweaks and some automation.

Cheers

the track is ok (but not more than just ok for the moment), except the synth @ 3'30". To me, the track would be better without it...

The various percussive elements could be beefed up to add some life. Then you wouldn't need the kick to be so clicky ;-)

i like the part @ 2'18 (but don't remove the kick @ 2'37, let things flow).

Also, the structure of the track is weak. It's made of a sequence of parts which sound somehow unrelated. Time to minimize I guess...

And yes, I know the track isn't finished, I'm rather negative here but don't worry too much. I just try to help :)

any feedback is always good and helps to inspire and make me improve.

Thanks for the comments. i will be working on a second draft over the next week or so and will post again once i am happy.

I currently use FL studio but i intend to crossover to cubase sometime soon.

Thanks again
