Shuffled beats

Do you know any method of doing this on a Mac without Drumazon or Battery ?

I don't know why battery is not working on my Mac and i really hate that when i save the song in ableton, it doesn't also save the setting in Drumazon and i have to save/load the paterns every time i restart ableton. And the shuffle function in Ableton really isn't useful at all.

i have a problem runing them in rewire mode ... dunno why
and also i like the audio effects Ableton has ... could get quite messy if i use a lot of percutions

I have no problems with shuffled quantize in Logic. There's probably just something you don't understand about ableton. As far as battery... make sure you have the latest updates to the Audio Unit (if on a mac). Some hosts won't even acknowledge AU's that fail validation... NI is pretty well known for that.

I have a mac, nut i don't have Logic ... i use Ableton. Also i can't make Battery run .. it says something about incompatible version or smth like that, even after i updated OSX.

That's why i asked because i tired of Ableton's straight beats and i can't use Battery, and Drumazon is a lot of time consuming to work with and quite limited.

I think that you have to render drumazon patterns to audio clips before you can use Ableton shuffle.
Or you could try Microtonic, it is a really nice drum synth with its own sequencer and the shuffle function.

That's what i was doing before and why i said it's time consuming
Is Microtonic also for Mac?


Edit : i reinstalled Reason and now it seems to work in rewire mode. I'll give it a try
