Alesis M1's always got good results by my knowledge, gonna get me a pair of them soon.

althoo i have heard some complains on the mid-low tones..

the best thing you could do like everybody else will tell you, is go to the store and listen yourself and than decide whats best in your ears.

Monitors are personal.

Last month I buy the Yamaha HS 80M. I listen the Alesis M1 620, too (its was my first option) but really disapointed me. I live in Argentina, so all is very expensive here and there isn´t a lot of options. I listen Samson Resolv and M-Audio, too. But i feel in love with the Yamaha HS 80M (in Argentina U can get this for U$s 900 the pair).

Ok! I´m sorry, I understand that you talk about the other model. The Alesis oficial seller in Argentina said to me that Alesis will no longer made the Monitor One MK2 and will remplace it with M1 620. Is that true?? In my country the MK2 are very dificult to find.
