Hey. Some kind of stupid question: what are you guys using to convert your tunes to mp3?
I've using Soundforge for some time but i've just heard the two versions of a track i just finished (the .wav and the .mp3) and i can't believe how shitty the mp3 sounds; even in my cheap stereo speakers.

i don't know. the thing that strikes me is the huge difference between how it sounded on the sequencer, how the wav sounds and how if finally sounds as an mp3.s.k. wrote:so you think sound forge's wav to mp3 conversion is the reason for the shitty sound?
i mean, don't know, i know there's this a really big difference between a wav and an mp3, but the things is that to my ears that was always unnoticeable.
So i guess that either my ears got better with producing or there's something wrong with my soundforge version or my tracks, which may probably sound shitty originally, get even muddier when compressing them to mp3.
