Opinions vary as he set the standard REALLY HIGH last year with his
debut album. This is not as dark and melancholic, i'd prefer some more
variety on that 2step bassline, but the atmosphere is once again wonderful.
I like it and i listen to many of the tracks on repeat as we speak.

Just one thing i wanted to add here:
I get the impression that he's become some sort of a trend in the dubstep
scene and many (who last year worshipped him) have started dissing his
music, maybe cause they are feeling uncomfortable with the level of his
success and its effect on their oh-so underground scene. This is sad eh?
i can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty.

yep, he did set the standard really high but i think this new album manages to be even more amazing than the first one. it evokes some kind of deeply personal euphoric sadness and melancholy, mainly because of the added vocals, where the first album was really much more obscure. and the title track 'untrue'... those are 6:17 mins of something extra special.

as to the ones dissing him, well, that's the way it works i guess. he's probably one of the most innovative artists to have released music in the last few years and he got instant (and deserved) recognition for it. i say he deserves all the credit and success he's getting.

i've been listening this in loop for the past week or so. this is even better than the first album, for me it seriously is the best album i've heard this year. i think most of the dubsted released these days is pretty boring and this is like oxygen boost for me. on the other hand, i wouldn't even put this into same cathegory with the rest of the dubstep, probably one has to create a totally new musical cathegory for burial :)

yeah the untrue track is something out o this world.
