Friday June 24

***THE BUNKER***

Dietrich Schoenemann (Hidden Agenda, Prototype 909 | NYC)
Paul Birken (Communique, Tonewrecker | Minneapolis)
Tony Rohr (Cocoon, Weave, Hidden Agenda | NYC)
Troy Pierce (M_nus | Berlin)
Ryan Elliott (Spectral | Detroit)
Hearthrob (M_nus | NYC)
Unjust (Schematic | NYC)
plus possible very special suprise guest

Dietrich Schoenemann is a central figure in the history of
US techno. He was a founding member of Prototype 909, who
were one of the most popular acts in the 90's US rave
circuit. Since then, he has produced a ton of tracks, some
of them international anthems. He also runs two successful
labels, Hidden-Agenda and Remains. As if that isn't enough,
he's done collaborative projects with Abe Duque, Taylor
Deupree, and the Rancho Relaxo Allstars. With good pals
Paul Birken and Tony Rohr and a crowd of rowdy NYC friends
and fans in the house, the energy is sure to be through the
roof for his DJ set.

Paul Birken is a midwest techno legend with a mind-boggling
discography that spans many labels. He is well known for
his live hardware PA's, each one a totally unique slice of
banging funky electronic sounds. He is currently running
his own label, Tonewrecker, and bringing his live sets to
parties around the world. Tonight he is playing live with
Tony Rohr.

Tony Rohr is one of the most interesting producers in hard
techno. Movement and Spinoza used to bug out in the Jerz
over his earliest tracks on Hidden Agenda in their early
days of spinning techno. He continues to push the envelope
and has been putting out quality tracks for many years now.
Tonight he plays a live set with old pal Paul Birken.

Troy Pierce moved from Williamsburg to Berlin around the
same time that Richie Hawtin and Magda did. He was very
involved in the minimal techno scene while he was here,
holding down a residency at Magda's Gel and Weave parties
at Openair, and appearing regularly at 59 Canal Street and
other afterhours venues. He co-produced the Run Stop
Restore EP, released a split EP with Plexus, and has a solo
track on the Minimize to Maximise compilation, all on
M_nus. Expect lots of rare goodies, as he is very much in
the minimal techno loop in Berlin, where hot white labels
and mp3's circulate well before we hear them on this side
of the Atlantic.

Ryan Elliot is the rising star of the Detroit minimal
techno scene. He holds down two impressive residencies in
Detroit at Untitled and Oslo (which has the best interior
design and sound system we have ever seen/heard), and an
upcoming gig at Fabric in London. He mixed disc two of the
upcoming "Spectral Sound Volume 1" compilation, which
should kick his DJ career into overdrive. This guy has deep
knowledge of all the latest minimal release, and insane
mixing skills, so expect to be impressed.

Hearthrob has been making unreleased secret weapons for
many of the best minimal techno DJs in the world. He has
recently released something on wax for the rest of us in
the form of an excellent track on the new M_nus
compilation. He has really been turning heads in the
minimal techno community and had the dancefloor bouncing
when he played at Mini-Mutek in May. Tonight we celebrate
his birthday, so expect some extra debauchery.

We are proud to present Ivee aka Unjust at the Bunker once
again. Her mix CD is ridiculously good: funky ass minimal
techno and sick electro beats seamlessly stitched into a
tight web, and her Bunker sets have yet to disappoint.
