So who is newschool dub-techno that isn't totally derivative? Vague Terrain is doing an upcoming digital dub issue and we need some mnml luvin'.. I love most of the stuff in this thread, but I don't like to think of dub techno as a retro sound, or at least I don't want to promote it like that.

Word on Huckaby - his remixes of Deepchord's electromagnetic dowsing are immense.

Some reccomendations :

Synth - great label - lots of deep dub and Acid sounds - on a mike inc tip - proper oldschool dub/techno fusion.
Studio 1 - mike inc kicks ass.
Deepchord/Echochord (check the coldest season to see that in fact BC have now been surpassed IMO)
Modern love

Kit Klayton
Chain Reaction / Basic Channel / Burial Mix / Mseries / Mainstreet
Thomas Fehlmann

Scion Versions (the new Substance / Vainquer are off the hook)
Burnt Freidmann

Some newer labels ? to be honest - I haven't followed the recent trends too much, but Kyoto digital were really pushing the boat out until they seemingly stopped, and you can also check our own AVXR series which features some pretty deep dub techno material.

I've also heard Tleilaxu from unfound do some nice stuff on that tip, and also Plaster.

Claudia Bonarelli and Vladislav Decay are also well worth a listen.

**Edit - don't forget Burial and some of the Skulldisco / more skippy technoid dubstep - a lot of it goes very nicely with this sort of sound
