Groove templates...

Post by MINIMALTECHNOHOUSE »

Anybody know where i can get some mpc groove templates??

Even midi files will do....

Or if you own an MPC, would you like to share?

Thanks in advance..

*edit*

Im using cubase/nuendo btw...

**edit**

Or if anyone would like to post some audio files of an mpc playing a one shot (with a fast transient) for a few bars at various swing patterns, ill make the templates / midi files and upload them??

i hate that ableton swing, cubase is way better imho, it's very flexible especially with proper using of magnetise

yeh, cubases' swing is good, magnetise + random placement up a tick or two rocks, but it does sound different from those old hip-hop and house records.... i cant explain why, perhaps theres a modulation to swing over the track??

Do you use the track paremeters too (in the inspector)? the random length, velocity and placement parameters help loosed things up further....

And the 'Track FX' is coool too.... you can set a scale so all your notes are played in key....

And the chorder owns too... im still making templates now lol....

Cubases' midi system is excellent....
