A good all around MIDI controller for.....

Post by TwelveHundred »

Use with Ableton 7 and Traktor 3.4?

I was looking at the A & H 1D and it looks ok... I was also looking at others and I came across the Vestax pcm 600 I think its called? The Vestax seems to have a lot to it and the price was only 700 while the 1D is going for 350.

Really I want a MIDI controller that is good with Ableton and TS3 that is fully assignable and has a fair amount of MIDI messages.

I want to be able to control loops, sounds, and effects and assign them acordingly.

If anyones got pictures or models and prices of what has been sufficient please share!!

Thanks!

Oh, I am fairly new to this and I just got TS 3.4 and Ableton 7 and I am still learning....

I just need a idea of what's fair all around at a fair price. I'm sure I will get everything working with hands on experience later!

Don't have any suggestions but I just wanted to say how this thread read.

It says,

A good all round midi controller for.....Twelvehundred... When you read the thread title and then see your username on the right.

I guess some can afford to spash out a little eh?

Can you post some pics?

I guess durability would be important too... I like to "use" the faders and pots...
