low budget monitor speakers

Post by Daemonix »

I did my search and my google but for this low budget speakers you might get negative things also so..

I can spend up to 200 pounds so I have found those two... ( any other? )

ALESIS M 1 ACTIVE 520 (180p)

BEHRINGER TRUTH B 2030A (~200p)

I want to keep it as low as possible coz I have spend a lot and my student salary is less than mnml! :D

thnx a lot

oh really?
Then the price have gone up, since I got mine 3-4 years ago, because at that time it was 200'ish..

EDIT: still around the 200 pounds price tag.

Dude, I've been using the pm1's for like...6 years, and they were like $400 American when I got them. I think they are selling the mk2. or mk3 now. They do have a little rattle in the upper mids if you hit them right, but a good speaker over all for the price.

avoid BEHRINGER!

i use the Alesis they're not that good but my sennheiser HD 650 make up for their failures. actually buy those headphones they're about 200. i've made tracks with them without listening on the monitors and everything has been spot on.
