I just got a look at those Waves Plugins and just wanted to ask if someone had some experience /w them and if , which plugins are worth it...

Given the abnormous price you most likely end up finding something less expensive but as good/better sounding.

Are you looking for any specific effect?

well I am looking for EQ/Compressor/Reverb

I am just starting out and I have no idea about all these terms like "vintage tube compresser" and what not..

vintage tube compressor isn't going to be as good as the real thing.

sure just wanted to make clear that I have no idea about that 30 types of compressors out there and just need something useful

waves limiters really do put your tracks through the roof. Apart from that there horribly over-priced.

what about compressors/reverbs/EQ's?

are there some alternatives? Logic's built-in stuff is pretty good which is what I am using but I am just curious if there's better stuff out there
