Dubby chords and "Rotational" EP

Post by lcvl »

Hi everybody

I just released a new deep, dubby techno EP, Rotational, through my http://leocavallo.bandcamp.com page and I've already been asked several times about how I create those dubby chords.

That seems a pretty recurring theme for almost every release, so I decided to add a little extra bonus for the people who decide to purchase the whole EP, in the form of a sample pack containing most of the sounds from the tracks (loops & single hits @ 24/44.1 quality) + a few words describing the process I go through to create those chords from scratch.

The whole bonus pack should be ready in a couple of days.

Take care
Leo

That, my friend, is an awesome idea and contribution to the scene.

OK then.
Last night I sent out all the samples for the Rotational EP (81Mb of 24/44.1 material).
I hope everyone received everything OK.
Still working on the production notes though... slow writer here...:-\

i love your ep. deep fat sound. chords: fantastic. atmosphere: dark yet euphoric. kinda like if burial got crossed with some classic detroit techno chords, but still with a very unique flavor. unforgettable.
