i really want to get up on some new stuff (well in this case old stuff i havent heard yet)

so someone in the know please share the wealth, i am sick of sifting through dubstep/2step tunes to find the gems. I am pretty up on the current stuff, but none of the current stuff is that 2steppy anymore.

Some recommend some labels or something.

Yeah, I know loads about 2-Step. I used to be the garage specialist back when I worked at Massive Records, so I'm sure I can help you. About a month ago I sold about 200 records, which is a shame as you could of come round and gone through them to see if you liked any. I still have quite a few left over so I'll have a look through them to see if there are any gems in there.

What sort of stuff were you looking for though? The vocal stuff/housey stuff or the more broken beat, like the Dubstep in todays market? I have a bit of both at home, but more of the stepping stuff.

Here is a small collection of stuff, see if you like any of it and then I can go away and find you more. If not let me know what tunes you're listening to then I can go dig in the crates and find some tracks for you.

I always preferred the todd edwards style garage, or is it house? It's got something most house music is missing today.

Nice one BLM, checking those links out.

Yeah Tone, todd i think is more kind of 4x4 garage, but he's pretty influential to that whole scene i'd imagine. from what i can hear, the 2step stuff moved out of the edwards inspired 4x4 stuff and crossed with jungle/breaks/sound system culture to be 2step. he's amazing. so funky.

yeah, i'd love to find more stuff like
Dem2 + De Souza

more dem2/groove connection stuff
