Best all in one box for minimal

Post by amnesia »

hi all

new here def not new to production etc.

I am looking for an all in one groove box that will give the best performance and sound for minimal tech.
I want to do drums, samples, bass fx etc inside NO COMPUTERS

I am thinking Spectralis 2

I owned a MD1 a few years ago but didnt like itd sound.

any other worthy?

i guess any groovebox, softsynth is good for every style of music, its just the fact that you have just sit in front and twist the nobs untill there is a nice sound wich you like, i have battery and i kind of like this
i always tweak the samples like i want,... there is no such thing as the ideal synth ore drumcomputer for minimal ore techno ore techouse ore whatever....

Spectralis looks best. I know a guy who did pretty well for himself with the yamaha. The korg EMX is good but i wouldn't like to use it without a computer. don't really know much about the roland boxes. they look nice but the newer roland stuff i have played with hasn't been to good.

That Spectralis looks a beast! I want one so bad. At the moment am using an MDUWmk2 and a MnMmk2 as the basis of my sound. Can't wait to add the Speckie tho!

What about korg electribes? You could probably buy the full set of them for the same price as one of those.
