hasn't Live already done this? I seem to remember the ads/videos before live 8 came out involving online collaboration

In one of the newsletter a little while ago, they said they were restarting from scratch as they were not happy with it. So it's going to take a moment.

also i think its on hold now since theyre focusing on making the latest build of live 8 a lot more stable.

the way i would use it is a follows

start making a track offline.
put it on ohmstudio and invite some musicians to perform over it.
take all that audio back to pro tools, edit, arrange and mix into a finished track.

I think, for real collaboration, by internet, it's just for fun. So, buy a soft for play.. it's light. So, there is an unstability on this point.

Sorry, it's difficult for me to explain this in English, I don't have good english.
