New speakers..what to buy?

Post by Armando_C »

Hi, i've to change my Krk RP 6 with some new stuff..what do you think that will be the best speakers to hear very well the sounds, to do a really good mix and master?
I was thinking about the V8, V8 II, or the VXT 8, always Krk.
What do you think?
Sorry for my english!

Out of curiosity, why don't you want to use the Rockit 6's anymore??? I was thinking of purchasing a pair. That's why I ask.

i think they are good speakers for bedroom DJing

but they are not very neutral if it comes to producing ..

look into the ADAM series

Regardless of what you buy, you're going to need to learn the speakers. I've got Samson R8a Rubicon's and was making my mixes insanely bass heavy at first. Now, I can get a tight mix with them. It takes a little time. The Adam's are nice, but you might need a sub with them.
