yamaha dx200 user: help my dx200 won't play anymore

So it doesnt plat anymore when i press the play button?
anyone had this problem too?

if so please let me know how to solve this...

Have you tried to trigger notes via midi? If it will trigger via midi then something is wrong with the play button... It it does not trigger at all then it is something more complex...

try changing the master control or slave settings

its one of the sub menus that disables or enables sync to other gear and will turn off the play button

you probably want it set to Int for internal,
depends on where it sits between your other gear

if that doesnt work maybe try a reset, you will lose your patches

or try to clean the contact / replace the play button switch

thanks android, it were the midi / slave settings

now everything's back to normal

only one minor problem, maybe you have had the same one, so i'm working on a pattern and sometimes when i try to save it , it goes back to the standard pattern that was on it... so all the fun for nothing...
pretty stupid cause when you're on the groove and hou have found a nice pattern with fun sounds and have adjusted them and then all of the sudden it's gone and you have those awfull standard beats on it again...
sucks big time...
need to buy me a good mixer so i can hook up my gear and try to work with it via ableton...
