Setting the producer station and acoustic treatment

Hi guys, i was asking myself what's the better position to set a producer station?
My box is around three metre large and six long, and i'd like to know where i can set my producer station to have a the "right sound"?
Also i'd like to know waht is your opinion about acoustic treatment? What's the best mark about that? Where i should set the panels?
