I'm going to travel a lot during a year or two, so I'm currently building a portable configuration for production.
Small laptop, very good monitoring headphones (Sony 7506 maybe), korg microkontrol, but there's something I don't really know about... The sound card.
Some people told me that when you do not connect any external instruments, you don't need an external sound card because the quality of a sound card in a laptop is good enough for computer production.
Is that true? (this question may sound stupid but I am not a good technician AT ALL).
If not, have you got some suggestions? (between 100 and 150 euros)
