how is it done, been trying for ages to get this one down, P-funk, prince, "jungle love" style stab.

Can't hear anything at the minute as all my gear is in storage but if I am thinking right, isn't it a synth brass chord with pitch modulation/vibrato?

That's what I associate with that description anyway, tends to be that thick saw stab with a pretty fast pitch mod via the mod wheel. An awful lot of those can be heard playing sus chords but I guess the chord type is neither here nor there.
