I've recently started playing the drums (my friend's band has all their sh!t in his basement) and I've found it very inspiring for making techno. I'm not sure why, but it triggers something in me to come up with all types of rhythms.

Plus, it's shitloads of fun. I might pick up a small kit for myself. :D

yeah I'm probably going for the Yamaha DTX-multi pad with yamahas kick pad/trigger

we already have an acoustic kit at home with some extra pedals... to bad its like 800 bucks!!

can't wait though!
