XBASE 999 or Miami?

Post by isaaclevy »

Hi, i want to go for an analogue drum seq. these two are appealing to me (Jomox XBASE 999 and Acidlab Miami), i would liek to hear some opinions and experiences, maybe other suggestions.

thanks advanced.

the miami is just an 808 clone. it's probably the best 808 clone but it's not perfect. it's fully analogue.
the 999 is analogue and sample based and a bit more diverse in the sounds it can make. it's also got that multimode filter.

Hey, thanks for mentioning that Miami. I didn't even know it existed, I'm a massive 808 fan so this is something else I'm gonna have to take a look at when i decide to shop.

On a side note, I was looking at the Jomox 888 as a partner for the Machinedrum, this has changed things somewhat.
