dj bags

Post by upekah »

hiho.

I just wanna know which dj bags you are using , as I need to buy a new one..

I would like to have a new one , like a 100 case..

Are there any pros/cons with magma/udg or are there any alternatives?

cheers!

From my experience, the small UDG bags are good, but the bigger ones ALWAYS break after a short time.
The ONLY big vinyl bag I had that lasted many years without breaking was an Odyssey bag.

I have had the small udg 40 for about 10 years now and it is fine. I would like a trolley bag though.

fck, that one looks dope! I've been looking for a good laptop/dj bag for ages. Will see if this bag is available anywhere. Thanks.

Again, Odeysey is the one to go after. I was recommended them by Mr C, and he is a world travelling (vinyl) DJ, and he never had problems with these bags. I had mine (90-100 vinyl trolley bag) with me on travels to Japan, Moscow, Germany, France, Spain and London, and worked perfectly after 3 years still. Finally sold it last year to a good friend who is still spinning vinyl only.

I bought a Magma deluxe bag and had it for 2/3 months before the seam started to come away on the strap.. Scared to use it now in case the strap tears whilst carrying it. I think I was packing too much in though.

Wanting to get a trolley though, tempted to get another Magma bag... the designs are really nice.

edit: this one is the bag that broke.. its pretty bling haha
