been away from techno for a while - help

Post by anthak »

unfortunately been away from techno for a couple of years. well and truly over a lot of music ive got, so looking to dl something new, and would like a bit of help please.

Can someone help with suggestions of DJ's to search for these days.

looking for a fairly minimal sound - very much into the sound of the Perlon boys, Sammy D and Zip etc, but want to find something not so techy (so the mrs will put up with it, haha). so looking for something maybe a bit like them but also maybe like luciano or James Holden or something??

I hope that paints a bit of a picture...

Any idea's?

Saw her spin at the AKA Bar back in 2005 and she rocked. Would love to see her play again somewhere, but it won't happen over here lol :D

well Zip and Ricardo are still doing their thing. i would say they are less techy than they were a few years ago. actually the whole scene has gone deep house or darker and much more raw techno. it's all about sounding old school now, which was cool for a while but it's getting a little boring.

i wouldn't bother with luciano but you can check him out for yourself.
