Hey Americanos
what is the best online shop (USA) for buying mnml, techno, etc vinyl (other than bent crayon). I can no longer afford the cost of shipping from Europe
damnit, that's the sh!t I've been saying all week long.thefunnel wrote:Other than a couple discogs sellers, there are none.
I've been "outta the game" for a while. 'went thru the "stealing mp3's" phase, but after a few months, didn't satisfy. I'm a 90's techno kid and I need my vinyl fix... but even with discogs, the shipping from Europe, argh!!! Oh well. If I need *that* record guess I have to pay it...

I used to shop dancerecords.com (out of Oakland, CA) and Satellite Records (out of NYC and ATL), but both are out of business. I'm pretty sure both of the Satellite Records physical shops have closed too.
Quick google search actually shows satelliterecords.com is back online, but only selling digital now![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
Maybe Cloutier can fill you in, but I haven't been able to find quality vinyl in the states for a few years now.

i don't buy fucking anything from us retailers anymore, because they all pretty much blow and they're retarded expensive.
gramophone, bentcrayon, forced exposure, and halcyon are probably you're only good options.

that's a different story.Kiani wrote:how do all the Detroit vinyl purist get their vinyls? I can't believe they all order them from Europe...
most of that is probably from either dopejams, gramophone, or, if you're in detroit, you go to detroit threads, melodies & memories (is that place still open?) or the submerge store.
