I'm selling my Macbook Pro 15" last generation before Unibody. This was one of our back up studio machines and has hardly been used. It was never used for anything else other than production so there is almost no "wear and tear" on the laptop and it has very few hours on it.
Specifications:
15 inch Matt screen
2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB RAM
Bus Speed 800MHz
250GB HD
English keyboard
This model is ideal for audio, photo, and video as it has a matt screen and the following ports:
1 x FW800
1 x FW400
1 x ExpressCard 34 (perfect for using the UAD-2 SOLO Laptop DSP Card)
2 x USB ports
Buyer pays shipping, payment via wire transfer or Paypal. Local pickup possible in Paris.

That's the worst deal i've seen. You can get a refurbished (pretty much brand new) 15" core i5, 4 GB ram at apple for 1269$.

Have you done your research on how much comparable used Macbook Pros are selling for in Paris?
My price is right on for Paris as comparably spec'ed MBP (but in worse condition) are selling for between 750€ - 900€.
So what happens in the US and in US dollars is not applicable nor a fair comparison.
