Calm down, calm down boys (in a scouse accent)

The Duet doesn't have so many ins, and the reason I want to upgrade is so I can use all the outs on my drum machines.

Like the Echo Audiofire so that could be a possibility, although I am not sure how will be without the gains.

What about the Motu Ultralite? This has 8 ins and outs and is around the 500€ mark.

lol is that chuckle brothers style

the motu is decent like very soild
+1
it also has front panel controls for volume etc and is small enough to fit on a desk. I find the volume and mute get a lot more use on my s.card than I ever thought.
i think it has a lot more than 8 ins and 8 outs.

I was thinking more harry enfield and chums!
I would go motu, price is £400 over here which is about the highest I would go with a soundcard.

Think I will go for the MOTU ultralite unless someone tells me otherwise.

I used to record my computer's out using ASIO4ALL
I've forgotten how I did it though.

can you not just run two patch cables from output to input?
I'm sure you know how to route it in most daws, u must be talking about outside the daw.
can you configure outputs to duplicate other outputs? like you might for a monitor/headphone mix.
